A comprehensive record of Kierkegaard-research had long been overdue. Since the Kierkegaard Studies Yearbook was first published in 1996, it has served as the authoritative periodical in the field.

The Kierkegaard Studies Yearbook contains texts relevant to current edition- and research-projects. It provides information about the work of the Søren Kierkegaard Research Centre and introduces to initiatives and scholars of the international scene. Furthermore, it aims to prompt a discussion about the direction that Kierkegaard research should take in the advance of the twenty-first century.

Each volume consists of four main sections: 1. papers from the annual research seminars; 2. articles by researchers who are affiliated with the Centre; 3. regulative principles and articles related to the research on the philological edition of Søren Kierkegaards Skrifter; 4. news from the Centre. Since 2003, there has been an additional part with translations of primary texts relevant for Kierkegaard studies.

From the Reviews
